School is out for the summer, so let’s kick things off with a bash!  We will explore the science of bubbles, learn about sun safety, create colorful outdoor art, play fun backyard games, and more!  It will be a week filled with friends, fun and sun!

We’ve added a new preschool-aged class for this week. Children ages 3–4 are now welcome to register, in addition to our 5–8 age group. Please note that all children must be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom independently.

ABOUT DISCOVERY CAMPS

Discovery camps are the perfect way to keep your child’s mind engaged while school is out. In keeping with the Discovery Center’s educational philosophy, children will explore weekly themes through hands-on interactive activities that will spark their curiosity, engage their senses, and unleash their creativity. The children have so much fun they don’t even realize they’re learning!

All camps include visits to the Discovery Center galleries, outdoor play and a morning and afternoon snack. Lunch may be purchased from the Discovery Center’s Kids Cafe for $6 or brought from home. Discovery camps have a short time after lunch children may rest, but not a full nap time. Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
